FAVOURITES TRILOGY PART 1: HIGHLIGHTERS

I thought I would do a bit of a series on my top highlights, blushes and bronzers, all things le face! Today is all about highlighters. Shine like a diamond ladies (not like an oily mess).  The reality is, I'm very particular about my highlighters, sometimes they're too glittery and other times their not shimmery enough.

I guess that's why I only have 2 favourite highlights: The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer Aka 'The Luminizer' and Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Nude Glow.

The Balm The Mary-Lou Manizer US$24/AUD$34.95 -  I do really love this highlighter and I love all the quirky names The Balm come up with for products. I'm a fan of The Balm in general. One of their blushes will be featured in my favourite blushes post (a little bit of a spoiler, oops). However, the reality is this highlighter is designed for lighter skin tones as it's more of a champagne shade than peach/bronze. I'm more of a medium cool skin tone, so I use this product with a light hand to give me that radiant sheen on the skin (JLo Glow, we all want that glow!). There is only one negative to this product and it's the smell. It smells almost fizzy, which I know is weird to say but it smells like a fruit tingle. I know this should be a good thing, I mean who   doesn't love lollies but it's odd to smell it in powder form.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Nude GlowAUD$72- I couldn't find this on the Bobbi Brown US website. This was a Christmas release and unfortunately is limited edition. It's a beautiful  colour perfect for my medium skin tone. However, if you're look for an alternative, try Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Pink Quartz

Hope you enjoyed this post, see you next time to talk about blushes. Woot!
