SPRING MAKE UP ESSENTIALS

After watching countless YouTube videos and hauls, I've become jealous of the fact that it's Spring in the Northern Hemisphere. Technically, it's Autumn in Australia, but we've had such good weather - you could easily confuse it for Spring.

I decided to jump on the bandwagon and highlight my Spring time favourites. The reality is some of these products are my all year round favourites.

Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour Full Coverage Foundation - I blame Essiebutton for this purchase. Honestly, I must say - anything Essie recommends is bang on. I have combination skin and this foundation is fantastic. It's long lasting and leaves the most beautiful satin finish. It also wears beautifully throughout the day and doesn't oxidises as the day goes on, a big plus for those of us who have an oily t-zone!

NYX Butter Gloss (Peach Cobbler & Vanilla Creme Pie) - I'm not much of a lipgloss fan, I can't stand the sticky feeling or my hair getting stuck to my lips (not a cute look). However, the butter glosses by NYX are amazing. They feel more like a balm and give the perfect amount of colour to the lips. I use these on days when I don't want to wear a lot of make up, for me this is normally a Sunday (Sunday Markets anyone?). I give my skin a day off from foundation and only use butter gloss and mascara! Amazing amazing.

Clinique Cheek Pop - These are currently all the hype on YouTube and they deserve all the attention they are getting. My favourite colour is Ginger Pop and it's an amazing warm peachy tone.  It feels like butter. It almost feels like a cream blush, but goes on like a powder! It's magic.

Miss Shop Nail Polish (Pick Me Niall)  - Miss Shop Nail Polish for those who don't know is a brand created by Australian Department store Myer. It's a beautiful baby blue, and is the perfect colour for Spring/Eater! Plus, I love that the name is One Direction related (should I be admitting that as a twenty something year old?)........ that's what makes you beautiful.

Lime crime Lipstick (Geradium)- First and foremost, even though the packaging is not pictured, we must talk about it. Purple with a sparkly unicorn? Yes please. Aside from the amazing packaging, the colour of this lipstick is just perfect. It's a mix between a bright pink and a coral. And I can't rave enough about the creaminess of these lipsticks. they feel so moisturising on the lips.

Revlon Parfumerie (Pink Pineapple) - There has been a lot of mixed reviews about this collection, not because of the quality of the polish but because of the smell. This colour luckily smells lovely, I mean who doesn't love pineapples! I know the others smell a little funky, but the good thing  is that the smell doesn't last long. Maybe a day or so after it is applied.

Mini Eggs- These might not be a beauty favourite but they are a Spring/Easter favourite never the less.  A crunching outer and cadbury chocolate inside... drool. Plus, they looks so pretty. Love speckled eggs!

Until next time lovelies, I hope you're having a lovely day whether it's spring/autumn.
