Squeal! I can't tell you how excited I was when I found EOS lip balms at Costco. It was the last place I thought I would find this coveted beauty product. I may have squealed out in public, thankfully no one was with me so I didn't have to embarrass them.
For several months, I've been lemming over this product and every time we saw it on a YouTube favourites video my eyes widened in excitement! To be honest, I firstly fell in love with the packing, because they are super cute and unique with the spherical shape. On top of that the flavours sounded to delightful. I thought of EOS lip balms as the adult version of lip smackers and for those who knew me when I was a tween, lip smackers were my first beauty addiction. I would hoard multiple flavours, begging my mum to purchase any limited addition packages.
However, I soon found out they were much more than that. The lip balms are organic, utilising beautiful ingredients including shea butter, vitamin E and jojoba oil. I know there has been mixed reviews about EOS lip balms and their formula, but I'm in love. They give the perfect amount of every day moisture to the lips, without being over oily or chunky. I know chunky is a horrible word to use, but you know what I mean, that horrid petroleum jelly texture. I like that fact that the actual ball of the balm is hard, because it doesn't easily squish and it keeps its shape which makes application easy.
From left to right: Sweet Fruit, Sweet Mint, Strawberry Sorbet, Honeysuckle Honeydrew.
My favourite of all the flavours is 'Sweet Mint'. I love anything mint flavoured and this smells wonderfully minty. However, as the formula for Sweet Mint includes peppermint oil, it does tingle a little bit, so be warned if you don't like the feeling of tingly lips.
The rest are also just as wonderful and smell exactly as what is claim. If you're an Aussie beauty lover, I suggest getting onto these ASAP before they fly out the door of Costco.
