Well hello my precious! The moment this was re-released at Sephora, I was right on it! I'm a super fan of anything Hourglass, hey honestly make some of the best beauty products out there. This little palette is perfect lighting in a box or the whole of Kim Kardashian glam squad at your door step ( a little over selling it here, but it is amazing). It's honestly magic and I can't explain to you how much I adore this product.
There are 3 fabulous powders (Dim Light, Incandescent Light and Radiant Light) within this palette and each one does something different to create the perfect highlights on your face and hide those pesky imperfections. The formula of these powders are just amazing, they feel silky, smooth and work into the skin flawlessly.
Dim Light is more of a satin finish and this is great where you need to divert light on your face. For me it's generally within the t-zone where I get oily. It's a great finishing powder after you've put on your foundation. It mattifies, without leaving your face looking flat.
Incandescent Light is powder has a slight glitter finish to it, but not in a disco ball glitter fashion, in a JLo glow kind of way. This is a perfect highlight colour for fairer skin tones. I mostly utilise this on the bridge of my nose and my cupids bow.
Radiant Light - My favourite of all three powders. It's a peachy toned highlight, which is perfect for my skin tone to act as a subtle highlighter on the top of your cheek bones. When you put this on indoors, it's not ridiculously obvious but the moment you step outside into natural sunlight, it gives you skin that perfect glow that every beauty lover adores.
Honestly, the swatches don't do it justice because the lighting just working with me when I was taking the photos, but I still wanted to share these with you.
Also, just a quick note about the packaging - don't be disturbed if your packaging has a slight dent and scratch in it. I've googled and it appears to be a common problem for the palette. Mine has an ever so slight scratch on the lid, which makes me a sad panda but doesn't make me love this product any less.
