URBAN DECAY NAKED FLUSHED NATIVE | BRONZER, HIGHLIGHTER AND BLUSH

I know what you're thinking, it's beautiful! I was very excited to try another Urban Decay product out of the 'Naked' range other than the eyeshadow palettes. I picked up the Flushed compact in Native, despite hearing some mixed reviews.  My honest opinion is that the compact is stunning. However, the colours are very dupable and if you have something similar in your make up collection then it really isn't worth picking up.

Urban Decay, Flushed, Naked, Naked Palette, Cosmetics

The bronzer colour look extremely orange in the palette and at a swipe, but once blended out it's a perfect contouring colour with a slight shimmer which makes you look like you're glowing from within. I wasn't a fan of the highlighter (it doesn't work for my medium skin tone). I think it's too silvery/white and I like my highlighters more on the golden side as they blend better into my better into my skin. I found despite blending it out (Jaclyn Hill style), it just stuck out like a sore thumb on my cheeks. The blusher reminds me so much of MAC Dollymix, and this is completely wearable, - it's matte and a perfect pink.

I think this is a great compact for someone who is starting out in the make up world, because it's all 3 times in one easy to carry around case!

  2. an honest review is always appreciated! I was thinking of getting one of these, and I've just realised it's because of the hype I have been seeing over here in the UK! I can't believe I was sold after initially not thinking it was for me! Actually, I need to consider if I really need the colours they are offering!
