As I write this post, this foundation is nestled in my lap like a much loved pet.  I purchased this tube of pure joy last week and have been wearing the foundation every day. It ticks all the boxes for a combination to oily skin type.

I tend to suffer from a very oily t-zone, and it only worsens with the stress of daily corporate life. I've always had an issue with my foundation wearing throughout the day. The L'Oreal Infallible 24H Matte lasts on the skin like nothing else. It trumps all my other foundations including Make Up Forever HD , L'Oreal True Match and Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24.  #FoundationGoals.

The consistency of the foundation is in between a gel and a liquid, it's extremely blend-able and easy to work with. It's definitely full coverage with a completely matte finish, not even a little satin. I blend it in with a Real Techniques buffing brush and because the tube has a small tip (oh the innuendos), it makes it easy to distribute evenly among the bristles.

I'm completely head over heels in love with this foundation, the only thing is in Australia the colour wave is not extensive, but I'm happy mixing colours for the quality.  Definitely one to try out, if you are like me have issues with foundation lasting on your combination/oily skin.

It currently feels like the antractic in Melbourne and I know people from UK and Canada are laughing at me because an Australian winter is never really that cold. However, this weather has  caused me to hiberate and online shop.

While browsing through the pages of Gerard Cosmetics' website, I decided I needed a little injection of summer by buying pastel and bright lip glosses, my kind of logic. A few months back, I  wrote a post all about my love for these gems and the love hasn't changed, it's only grown.

Coral, Lipgloss, Youtube, Gerard Cosmetics.
Coral Craze - A true orange coral.

This thing I've always adored about these lip glosses is they last an incredible amount of time on the lips.  While the formula gets some getting use to, as they are incredibly tacky, they're worth the momentary discomfort, because they end up melting into the lips and locking in for the rest of the day. At times, I'll be wearing this lip gloss over a lipstick and am constantly stocked when by lunch it's still on the lips and as an added bonus not feathering.
Gerard Cosmetics, Lipgloss, Butter Cream
Butter Cream - Midtone pink, perfect for every day.
They're also highly pigmented and exactly like what's shown through the packaging, which I love! There is nothing I dislike more than a beautifully pigmented lip gloss in the package, that ends up sheering out on the lips.  For me, these are very much a lipstick/lipgloss hybrid without being a liquid lipstick.
Coral Crazy, Shanxo, Youtube.
Candy Kiss - Beautiful neon/pastel peach created by Shannon Harris
The packaging is also extremely sturdy, so you don't have to worry about finding lipgloss all over your handbag. Overall, if you're looking for a highly pigmented gloss, I'd recommend giving Gerard Cosmetics a go. There's always a discount code floating around, so you can always snap them up when they are on sale.
